
Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) and Tool and Gauge Manufacturers’ Association (TAGMA) have joined hands and established the NTTF - TAGMA LIBRARY at a cost of over Rs. 8 millions. The library is situated at the Peenya campus of NTTF, Bangalore. It has a built up area of 2000sq.ft. It was dedicated to the nation on 20th January 2007 by Sri R Srinivasan, Vice President of TAGMA in the august presence of Sri S C Kalyanpur, President of TAGMA.
The library is designed to serve the needs of the manufacturing community in general and Tooling Industry in particular.
Objectives
- To establish a center for collection, storing, and dissemination of Technical Information in the areas of Tool & Gauge Engineering and Manufacturing Technology.
- To Build & Maintain Data Bases in the Areas of Tool & Gauge Engineering and Manufacturing Technology.
- To provide facilities for Training of professionals through Computer Based Self Learning programs in the areas of Tool & Gauge Engineering and Manufacturing Technology.
- TAGMA members, geographically dispersed can access the Technical Information in this library easily.
- Communication to the members of TAGMA regarding the updation of Data Bases and other related information periodically is made easy.
- Digitized Literature can be accessed easily and down loaded by the user.
